Experiencing God

Over the last several weeks, I have been on a journey through a wonderful study called Experiencing God.  The Lord has been challenging me in many ways and I have no doubt that He is at work in my heart.  In the lesson I was reading today, I came across the following statement: "You cannot stay the way you are and go with God."  That is a very powerful and convicting statement when you really sit and think about it.  How many of us know that God is always at work with in us but are not willing to seek Him and grow so that he may accomplish His works through us?  The statement says "you cannot stay the way you are."  We must be willing to seek Him more each day and obey and experience the challenges he places in front of us in order to "go with Him."  If we are stagnant, it is hard to go with God, right?  I present this as a challenge to all of us today.  Are you content in staying where you are or do you want to go with God?  I for one want to be used by God, but that is going to take seeking a deeper relationship with him full of obedience and trust in His word on a DAILY basis.  I pray that we all desire to go with Him all the days of our lives.  I want to leave you all with this wonderful passage form scripture:

"But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you: to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and all your soul." Joshua 22:5

Do this friends. Do not be complacent.
